With the digital world at our fingertips at nearly all times, cybersecurity knowledge is essential for Montanans of all ages. We're helping students ages 11-14 learn about cybersecurity early through our NSA Sponsored GenCyber Summer Institute.
Students will participate in a variety of cybersecurity exercises that will teach both the foundation of computer security, as well as the basics of technology. This cybersecurity camp is geared to expose students to the world of technology. It promotes a basic understanding of computer security and engenders a passion for technology and engineering concepts in the future.
The objectives of the camp include:
- Foster interest and enthusiasm in technology
- Teach the fundamentals of offense and defense in cybersecurity
- Work with embedded devices
